Workshop on AI Capability

Held on the first day of ICML 2026 in Seoul, our 4th Workshop on AI Capabilities brought together over 400 registrations, nine talks, and a full day of open exchange. Thank you to our speakers and to every one of you who took part — the questions, the discussions, and the energy in the room made the day what it was. 🎉 Thank you for joining “Thinking about AI’s Capability”!

ICML 2026

ICML has now wrapped, and it was a joy — so many events and so much exchange throughout the week. Thank you, Seoul!

Beyond our own workshop, we presented four workshop papers at ICML — including a spotlight (23 of over 700 submissions) at the Mechanistic Interpretability workshop. It’s a real joy to watch our students grow. 🌱

Our summer isn’t over yet. Next up is KDD 2026 in Jeju (Aug 9–13), where we’ll present ARCTraj and, at the Undergraduate Consortium, LLM Squid Game — come find us at KDD! I’ll then head to IJCAI 2026 in Bremen (from Aug 15). If you’ll be there, I’d love to meet and talk — please come say hi.
